LITERATURE REVIEW
In a group of 6, we were assigned to make a timeline of mosques that are located in North Selangor. With that, we would make a short description of it and state the islamic elements that are used. After that, each of the group members are to pick one of the mosque and list down the islamic architecture elements more in-depth such as tawhid, ihtiram, ilm', dikr and so on. What I've learned from this is mostly islamic architecture that are in common in every mosques. Furthermore, teamwork and communication skills were sharpen as we were in a group.
In this assignment, the group is assigned to visit a mosque which we chose Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah mosque, also known as UIA, which as located in Gombak. Individually we were to do a literature review, conduct an interview and a report about the spiritual senses of the mosque, where my topic was on Sacred and Mosque Architecture. This spiritual feelings are different to everyone else's therefore a site visit was conducted and being there really shows up the feelings of spirituality.
